Coming off her fifth 20-point effort of the season Saturday at Radford, Rouse scored in double figures for the 17th time on the season with a game-high 18 points on 6-of-12 from the floor while grabbing three rebounds.

"Asheville made some good adjustments in the second half where they came out and were physical," said Longwood first-year head coach
Rebecca Tillett. "The got the ball into the post and were able to get some offensive rebounds. We didn't respond quick enough."
Evans scored nine of her 16 points in the second half to lead UNC Asheville to a second-half comeback in a game that featured seven ties and five lead changes where the Bulldogs' bench outscored Longwood by a 36-14 margin. The performance from Evans marked her 12th game of the season in double figures, as she went 8-of-8 from the free throw line and 4-of-9 from the field.
After Longwood (3-21, 2-12 Big South) took a 30-27 lead to the half, Asheville took the lead at the 5:49 mark of the third quarter and never trailed again while sealing the game by hitting 3-of-4 free throws down the stretch to take its largest lead in the game's final five seconds.
Rouse, the Big South's most efficient player from the floor and ranked among the top 15 in the NCAA, added two blocks in her effort in 35 minutes. After averaging 12.1 points per game in Longwood's first 13 games, the Pittsburgh, Pa., product has averaged 19.9 points over the last eight games to elevate her name into the top five in the Big South in scoring on the season with 14.7 points per game.
Stephanie Guihon added nine points, three assists for the Lancers while

Longwood welcomes Hampton to Willett Hall Saturday, Feb. 23 in the first game of a doubleheader with the Longwood men's basketball team. The Lancers and Pirates are set for a 12 p.m. opening tip.
"Hampton likes to play an up-tempo style and they play a unique zone, so we'll have a couple good days of practice before we're ready to go against them Saturday," Tillett said.
