Longwood to Host Pregame Social Before Men's Basketball at Hampton

FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood University invites Hampton Roads-area alumni and friends to a special pregame social taking place before the Longwood men's basketball team's showdown at Big South newcomer Hampton next Thursday, Feb. 21, in Hampton, Va.
The pregame gathering will take place at Sly Clyde Ciderworks, located 1.5 miles from Hampton University Convocation Center, beginning at 5 p.m. The event will allow fellow Lancer alumni and fans the opportunity to gather, network and pregame with food and drinks before Longwood's 7 p.m. tipoff against the Pirates.
Registration for the event is $15 and includes two drinks at the pregame social as well as a game ticket in the Longwood section. Lancer fans under the age of 21 are welcome attend the pregame social and should register under the "Game Ticket Only" option on the registration page.

The pregame social precedes the new-look Lancers' rematch with Hampton, which joined the Big South Conference for the 2018-19 season and joined Longwood and Radford to form the league's Virginia-based trifecta. Hampton took the first meeting 96-83 behind a lights-out shooting performance in Willett Hall. The rematch on Feb. 21 will tip off at 7 p.m.
