Hoops Doubleheader Against Hampton Selected for ESPN3 Broadcasts

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – ESPN and the Big South Conference have selected the Longwood men's and women's basketball doubleheader against Hampton on Feb. 15 in Willett Hall for back-to-back ESPN3 broadcasts, the conference announced Tuesday.
The conference showdowns, designated as the ESPN3 men's and women's basketball "Games of the Week" for Feb. 10-15 begin at 3 p.m. The Lancer women open the twinbill against the Pirates, and the men will follow at 6 p.m. The contests will air live on ESPN's digital network, which is available online at WatchESPN.com, as well as on mobile and streaming platforms nationwide.
Those games will pit the Longwood men and women against Hampton on a home court that the Lancers boast a combined 6-1 record in 2019-20. The men are an unbeaten 4-0 and have won five straight on Jerome Kersey Court, while the women opened the year 2-0 before snapping that streak in a one-possession loss to East Carolina the last time out on Nov. 26.
In addition to the ESPN3 games on Feb. 15, all Longwood men's basketball home games and road Big South contests air live on ESPN+ as well as over the airwaves on 92.9 WVHL Kickin' Country FM.
