The Opening Tip
•    Longwood heads to Campbell Saturday in search of a season sweep over the Fighting Camels after taking the first meeting of the season 76-62 on January 15 in Farmville.
•    The Lancers are down to their final five games of the regular season, three of which — including Saturday's showdown at Campbell — will be on the road.
•    Three players on Longwood's roster — Kamil Chapman (Charlotte), Juan Munoz (Morrisville) and JaShaun Smith (Raleigh) — hail from North Carolina. Additionally, two members of Longwood's incoming recruiting class — Josiah Jeffers (Burlington) and D.J. Myers (Raleigh) — are also from North Carolina.
•    Longwood forward Jahleem Montague has missed back-to-back games and is questionable for Saturday's game with a hand injury.

Last Time Out
•    MaCio Teague scored 20 points and sparked a second-half rally that saw first-place UNC Asheville overcome a 14-point deficit to take down upset-minded Longwood 78-73 in Willett Hall.
•    Led by a career-high 19 points from Damarion Geter, Longwood led for nearly 18 consecutive minutes until Jonathan Baehre hit a go-ahead layup with 8:10 remaining. After JaShaun Smith responded with a layup of his own to reclaim the Lancers' lead, Teague put the Bulldogs ahead for good 19 seconds later with another layup.
•    Teague scored 13 points in the final 15:09 of the game and helped UNC Asheville turned the game around with a 15-3 run that included three three-pointers from Teague.
•    Geter was Longwood's go-to option down the stretch, scoring the Lancers' final six points, including a three-pointer with 1:01 remaining.

By The Numbers
•    Longwood has the Big South's top three-point defense, holding opponents to a conference-low .314 (205-of-652) clip from beyond the arc.
•    Wednesday against UNC Asheville, Damarion Geter scored a career-high 19 points and led the team in scoring for the first time in his five-year career. That output was the latest double-figure scoring game for the fourth-year team captain, who has nine double-digit scoring games this season after entering the season without a single 10-point game in his career.
•    Geter has already set career highs this season in points (175), rebounds (151), made field goals (65), made three-point field goals (2) and made free throws (43).
•    Geter entered this season a career .263 (10-of-38) free throw shooter but is shooting .632 (43-of-68) from the stripe this year. He hit 8-of-9 free throws Wednesday against UNC Asheville.
•    Geter has already cracked Longwood's top 10 in career blocks. He has 76 career rejections, which ranks eighth in program history, fifth on the Division I list and first in the Jayson Gee era.
•    The Big South's fifth-leading scorer Isaiah Walton has led Longwood in assists in four straight games, averaging 3.3 per game during that span. Walton has also cut down on his turnovers in that stretch, boasting a 1.3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio with more assists than turnovers in three of those four outings.
•    Walton has scored in double figures in 18 of his 21 games this season and in 40 of his 51 career games at Longwood.
•    Walton is just 40 points away from reaching 800 in his college career. He has scored all 800 of those in just two seasons at Longwood and is on pace to become the 22nd 1,000-point scorer in Longwood men's basketball history. He would be the ninth player in the Division I era to reach that mark.
