The Opening Tip
•    In their final road game of the regular season, Longwood heads to High Point Thursday for a rematch of the Jan. 21 game High Point won 75-55 in Farmville, Va.
•    Including Thursday night's showdown against the Panthers, just two games remain on Longwood's regular-season schedule before the start of the 2018 Big South Championship.
•    High Point, ranked sixth in the Big South at 8-8, will be the sixth consecutive opponent ranked in the top half of the league standings Longwood has faced. Longwood has played league frontrunners Winthrop and UNC Asheville, along with Liberty (currently No. 5), Campbell (currently No. 4) and Charleston Southern (currently No. 7) in the past five games.
•    Longwood's last trip to High Point saw the Lancers pull out a 60-55 victory on New Year's Eve, 2016.

Last Time Out
•    First-place Winthrop overcame a stingy Lancer defense in the first half and erupted for 47 points after halftime to pull out a 79-64 win over the Lancers Sunday in Rock Hill.
•    Led by five double-figure scorers, the Eagles outlasted Longwood's backcourt duo of B.K. Ashe and Charles Glover, who combined for 33 of Longwood's 64 points.
•    Winthrop forward Josh Ferguson recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
•    Ashe led Longwood with 21 points in his seventh 20-point game of the season, while Glover had 12.
•    Longwood junior Chris Shields also scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds in just 20 minutes, posting his highest scoring total against a Division I opponent this season.
•    Damarion Geter grabbed a team-high nine rebounds for Longwood.

By The Numbers
•    Longwood's senior duo of B.K. Ashe and Charles Glover are nearing the end of a nearly five-year-long college career together. Both were part of the same recruiting class at Mount St. Mary's where they played together from 2013-16. Ashe transferred to Longwood before the 2016-17 season and sat out a year, and Glover followed him to Farmville this year as a graduate transfer.
•    Ashe and Glover combine to average 21.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this season. Both are ranked in Longwood's top three in scoring, assists and steals.
•    Damarion Geter is averaging 10.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game over his past 10 games. Geter has scored in double figures in six of those games and is shooting .609 (39-of-64) from the floor during that 10-game stretch.
•    On the season, Geter leads Longwood with a 1.5:1 assist-to-turnover ratio. The 6-8, 235-pound "point forward" averages 2.2 assists per game and has the second most assists on the team this season.
•    Geter has never missed a field goal in his career against High Point. He is 10-of-10 from the field in three games in the series while averaging 6.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
•    On Feb. 12 against Charleston Southern, Isaiah Walton scored the 800th point of his career. He has scored all 808 of his points in just two seasons at Longwood and is on pace to become the 22nd 1,000-point scorer in Longwood men's basketball history. He would be the ninth player in the Division I era to reach that mark.
•    Walton has scored in double figures in 20 of his 23 games this season and in 42 of his 53 career games at Longwood.
•    Walton's 17.0 points per game is the fourth-highest scoring average by a Jayson Gee-coached player at Longwood.

Series History
•    Longwood and High Point square off for the second time this season and 31st time in series history. High Point took the first matchup this season 75-55 in Farmville on Jan. 21 and owns a 22-8 lead in the all-time series.
•    The Lancers and Panthers have faced each other 11 times since Longwood joined the Big South in 2012-13. High Point is 10-1 in those games, including 9-1 in the regular season.
•    Longwood's last win in the series came on New Year's Eve 2016, 60-55 on the road at High Point.
•    Forward Damarion Geter has never missed a field goal in his career against High Point. He is 10-of-10 from the field in three games in the series.
