The Opening Tip
•    Longwood is 2-2 against teams currently occupying the top half of the Big South standings. The Lancers have defeated No. 2 Gardner-Webb and No. 5 Campbell during a five-game stretch in which they are 3-2.
•    Longwood is in the midst of its best defensive stretch of the season, holding the past three opponents to just 61.0 points per game. Longwood allowed 77.5 points per game in 17 games prior.
•    Longwood is 3-3 since reassembling its "Big Three" backcourt of B.K. Ashe, Charles Glover and Isaiah Walton. Those three account for 51.8 percent of Longwood's scoring and 57.7 percent of Longwood's assists.
•    Longwood has won five of its past seven home games in Willett Hall this season, including back-to-back wins over Big South foes Gardner-Webb and Campbell.

Last Time Out
•    Carlik Jones scored 18 points to help first-place Radford outlast Longwood 70-63 in a buzzer-to-buzzer showdown in the Dedmon Center.
•    In a game that was within one possession in the final minute, the Highlanders made their free throws count down the stretch to pull away from a Longwood squad that entered the game winners of three of their past four.
•    Radford finished 18-of-22 from the free throw line and turned 17 offensive rebounds into 18 second-chance points to overcome four Lancers who scored in double figures.
•    Longwood rallied to tie the game at 60-60 on an Isaiah Walton three-pointer with 2:15 to play, but Radford regained the lead on an Ed Polite Jr. tip-in and hit 8-of-8 free throws the rest of the way.
•    Walton finished with a team-high 16 points for Longwood.

By The Numbers
•    Longwood is holding opponents to a .299 (161-of-538) three-point shooting percentage, the lowest in the Big South and the 10th lowest in the nation. Only six of 10 opponents have shot better than .333 against Longwood this season.
•    Longwood's three-point defense has been even stingier in conference play, with Big South foes shooting just .296 (59-of-169) against the Lancers. Longwood has held five straight teams to 33.3 percent shooting or lower from long range.
•    Longwood is 3-3 since leading scorer Isaiah Walton and point guard Charles Glover returned to the lineup on Jan. 3. Both Walton and Glover missed four straight games in December.
•    Longwood is 3-0 when Ashe, Glover and Walton all score in double figures and 3-1 when they combine for at least 50 points.
•    Redshirt senior guard B.K. Ashe has 19 assists and just eight turnovers over his past five games for a 2.4 assist-to-turnover ratio. Those numbers coincide with Ashe's reunion with the other two pieces of Longwood's "Big Three" in fellow guards Charles Glover and Isaiah Walton, who returned after both missed four straight games at the end of December.
•    In 16 games with Glover in the lineup, Ashe has 50 assists and 46 turnovers (1.1 A:TO ratio). In four games without him, Ashe has nine assists and 19 turnovers (0.5 A:TO).
•    Spencer Franklin is Longwood's leader in plus-minus rating. Longwood allows a team-low 1.72 points per minute when he is on the floor, compared to 1.96 points when he is on the bench.
•    Isaiah Walton is averaging 18.2 points per game, tied for the fourth-highest single-season scoring average of Longwood's Division I era and the second highest by a Gee-coached player at Longwood. Walton has scored in double figures in 13 of his 15 games, including six 20-point games.

Series History
•    Longwood and High Point meet for the 30th time in series history and first time this season Sunday in Willett Hall. High Point holds a 21-8 advantage in the all-time series.
•    The Lancers and Panthers have squared off 10 times since Longwood joined the Big South in 2012-13. High Point is 9-1 in those games, including 8-1 in the regular season.
•    The teams split last season's series with Longwood taking the first matchup in Farmville 60-55 and High Point bouncing back with an 88-80 win in High Point.
•    Isaiah Walton is Longwood's leading active scorer in the High Point series, averaging 10.5 points per game in two matchups last season.
