The Opening Tip
•    Winners of two of their past three games, the Lancers are in the midst of a grueling conference stretch, playing four of the Big South's predicted top five finishers in four straight games. So far, Longwood is 2-1 during that stretch with wins over No. 3 Liberty and No. 5 Gardner-Webb and a loss to No. 1 UNC Asheville.
•    Since Longwood reassembled its "Big Three" backcourt of B.K. Ashe, Charles Glover and Isaiah Walton four games ago, the Lancers have set season highs for points against Division I opponents twice — 79 against Gardner-Webb and 80 against UNC Asheville — and set a season-low for opponent points against Liberty (51).
•    This past Friday's 58-51 win at rival Liberty was the 200th of Longwood head coach Jayson Gee's career. In 12 seasons as a head coach — including seven at his alma mater, University of Charleston (W.Va.) — Gee is 200-160.

Last Time Out
•    Isaiah Walton scored 22 points and led a second-half charge that saw Longwood erase a 12-point deficit and stun Big South contender Liberty 58-51 Friday evening at the Vines Center.
•    Walton, who played just five minutes in the first half due to foul trouble, scored 20 points after the break to send the Lancers to their second win in the past three games. Walton shot 6-of-13 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line en route to his team-leading fifth 20-point game of the season.
•    With 1:01 to play, Charles Glover found Walton open in the corner for the go-ahead three-pointer, giving the Lancers a 53-51 lead that was their first lead of the game.
•    Glover followed with his own highlight 48 seconds later when he hit a trey to extend Longwood's lead to 56-51 and lock up the win.

By The Numbers
•    Longwood is 2-2 since leading scorer Isaiah Walton and point guard Charles Glover returned to the lineup on Jan. 3. Both Walton and Glover missed four straight games in December.
•    With Isaiah Walton on the floor, Longwood averages 1.80 points per minute. Without Walton, Longwood averages 1.42 points per minute. Walton has scored in double figures in 11 of his 13 games, including a team-high five 20-point games.
•    Longwood has been outrebounded just once in the past four games, holding a -1.0 rebounding margin during that span compared to a -8.3 mark in 14 games prior. During that recent four-game span, Longwood outrebounded Presbyterian 40-37 and Liberty 34-25, and matched Gardner-Webb 32-32
•    The only team to outrebound the Lancers during the past four games is Big South preseason No. 1 UNC Asheville.
•    Redshirt senior guard B.K. Ashe has 15 assists and just three turnovers over his past three games for a 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. Those numbers come as Ashe was rejoined in the backcourt by  the other two pieces of Longwood's "Big Three" in fellow guards Charles Glover and Isaiah Walton on Jan. 3 against Presbyterian.
•    Over the past four games, Longwood has twice set season highs for scoring against a Division I team and also set a season benchmark for fewest points by an opponent. Longwood scored 79 points in a win against Gardner-Webb on Jan. 6 and topped that mark three days later with 80 against Big South preseason No. 1 UNC Asheville on Jan. 9. Longwood then held Liberty to 51 points in a 58-51 win on Jan. 12, the second-lowest scoring output by a D-I opponent in Longwood's Division I era.
•    Longwood is holding opponents to a .307 (150-of-488) three-point shooting percentage, the lowest in the Big South. Only six of 18 opponents have shot better than .333 against Longwood this season.

Series History
•    Longwood and Campbell square off for the 16th time in series history and first time this season Monday in Willett Hall. Longwood holds a 9-6 advantage in the all-time series.
•    Since joining the Big South in 2012-13, Longwood is 6-3 against Campbell.
•    Longwood had won five straight games against the Camels under head coach Jayson Gee until the final meeting of last season when Campbell pulled out an 83-79 win in Buies Creek, N.C.
•    Isaiah Walton is Longwood's active leading scorer in the Campbell series, averaging 22.0 points per game in two meetings last season. Walton scored 16 in the first meeting and 28 in the second.
