The Opening Tip• Longwood hits the road for a Friday matchup at UNC Asheville, setting the stage for a rematch of the Bulldogs' 74-64 win at Longwood on Jan. 28.
• The last meeting between Longwood and UNC Asheville was a dual between two point guards, as Longwood's
Quincy Taylor netted a game-high 25 points opposite Andrew Rowsey's 24.
• Longwood won its last road game, 71-67, at Presbyterian on Jan. 14. It was the first road win of the season for the Lancers.
• Longwood is the second-leading three-point shooting team in the Big South, shooting 36.8 percent (193-of-525) this season. Longwood is shooting 38.6 percent (98-of-254) from three-point range in Big South play.
•
Leron Fisher is Longwood's top scorer over the past four games, averaging 18.3 points per game with two 20-point outings during that span.
Last Time Out• Gardner-Webb hit 16 three-pointers to top Longwood, 87-78, Tuesday evening in Willett Hall. The Runnin' Bulldogs found a groove early, hit nine treys in the first half and never cooled off, finishing 16-of-29 from beyond the arc for the game.
• Redshirt junior guard Adonis Burbage knocked down six of those three-pointers and finished with 18 points as one of five double-figure scorers for the Bulldogs. He hit back-to-back three-pointers at the start of the second half to spark a 10-0 run that pushed Gardner-Webb's 38-37 halftime lead to double figures less than four minutes into the second period.
• Gardner-Webb shot .577 (30-of-52) from the field to outpace 10 three-pointers from Longwood and a 21-point game from junior forward
Shaquille Johnson. Longwood turned the ball over a season-low five times.
By The Numbers• Longwood ranks second in the Big South with a .368 (193-of-525) three-point percentage, which would tie the school's Division I record set by the 2007-08 Lancers.
• Point guard
Quincy Taylor is on pace to break Longwood's single-season three-point shooting percentage record. Taylor sits atop the list with a .483 (53-of-110) clip and would be the first Lancer to shoot higher than .470 in a season. Taylor's .483 three-point percentage ranks third nationally.
• The Lancers lead the Big South with 365 forced turnovers this season and average 15.6 points off turnovers per game. Longwood also leads the league with 191 steals, thanks in part to guard
Leron Fisher's conference-best 46 steals.
• Longwood is 4-2 this season when 6-7 forward
Damarion Geter registers at least three assists. Geter has posted 3+ assists in wins over Averett (4), UNCG (6), Penn State Beaver (3) and Presbyterian (3). He averages 1.6 assists per game.

• Junior forward

• Freshman
Victor Dorsey averages 8.0 rebounds per 40 minutes, the second-highest average on the team behind only Nwogbo (10.9). Dorsey has played at least 10 minutes in every game since Nwogbo went down with a thumb injury on Jan. 10.
