The Opening Tip
• The Lancers travel to Buies Creek Satur­day for the second matchup in the series against Campbell.
• Raven Williams was named the Big South Women's Basketball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness Mon­day. The honor for Williams is her second of the season
• Emily Nylen has become a force for Longwood on the defensive end of the floor, as the 6-5 sophomore is fourth in conference play with 2.10 blocks per game.
• Raven Williams ranks among the top 15 in the Big South this season in points (13.1), assists (3.35), steals (1.50), three-point field goals per game (1.74) and three-point shooting percentage (.301).

Last Time Out
• Winthrop's Aliyah Kilpatrick knocked down a pair of free throws with six sec­onds remaining to give the Eagles a 63- 62 road victory Tuesday night over Long­wood.
• In the first half, the Lancers hit 15-of- 26 (.577) of their field goals and 6-of-12 (.500) from beyond the arc. Longwood also limited Winthrop to just 10-31 (.323) from the floor. The result was a 39-27 halftime advantage for the Lancers.
• In the second half, Winthrop shot .583 (14-of-24) from the floor and held Long­wood to just .229 (8-of-35) shooting.
• Erica Williams finished with a game-high 18 points to go along with 12 rebounds, while Shaquilla Nunn finished with 17 re­bounds and 14 points in 40 minutes.

By The Numbers
• Longwood has been successful shoot­ing the three this season, as the Lancers have made at least four three-point field goals in each game they've played. Long­wood hit a season-high 11 three-point field goals at Presbyterian
• The Lancers have played a total of five schools from a power five conference this season — Wake Forest, Florida, Vir­ginia Tech, Virginia and Clemson. The five games against the power five is the most of any team in the Big South this season.
• Raven Williams has been Longwood's top threat from beyond the arc this sea­son, as she is ranked fourth in the confer­ence with 1.74 treys per contest.
• Williams is the only player to rank among the top five in the Big South in scoring (15.2 PPG) and assists (4.00) during con­ference play.
• Emily Nylen has climbed into the top 10 in blocked shots in the Big South this season. Nylen is sixth in the league aver­aging 1.50 blocks per game and is fourth in conference play with 2.10 blocks per game.
• Brenna Robbins has notched three straight games in double figures for the first time in her career. The sophomore scored 12 points at Presbyterian and topped the effort with a 14-point outing Saturday against Charleston South­ern. Finally, Robbins poured in 17 points against Winthrop.
• Junior Deborah Headen has scored in double figures in six of her past 11 games, as she is Longwood's third leading scorer since Daeisha Brown's injury.
• Longwood named three players team captains — senior Rianna Frazer, junior Deborah Headen and junior Raven Wil­liams

Scouting Campbell
• Campbell comes into Saturday's contest with an 11-9 overall record and a 6-5 mark in Big South play. The Camels were last defeated, 51-42, at Presbyterian on Tues­day night.
• The Camels own a 8-1 mark inside the Pope Convocation Center this season. Campbell is undefeated inside their home arena in Big South play.
• RaeChaun Edwards is the Big South's leader in assists per game this season, as she is averaging 6.33. In addition, Amanda Coffer is the leading scorer for the Camels and ranks among the top 20 in the conference with 11.8 points per contest.
• In the first meeting on Jan. 3 between the two schools, Campbell used a late first half surge to pull within three and would eventually use a 14-0 second half run to pull away for a 65-58 victory.
