Game Promotions
• All fans planning to attend Tuesday's game are encouraged to wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer. Longwood sorority Zeta Tau Alpha will be sponsoring the cancer awareness, while the Relay for Life of Longwood will also be in attendance to take donations.

The Opening Tip
 • The Lancers return to Willett Hall to host Cancer Awareness Night, as Longwood begins the second half of conference play against Winthrop.
Raven Williams was named the Big South Women's Basketball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness Mon­day.
Emily Nylen has become a force for Longwood on the defensive end of the floor, as the 6-5 sophomore is fourth in conference play with 2.00 blocks per game.
Raven Williams ranks among the top 15 in the Big South this season in points (12.8), assists (3.21), steals (1.53), three-point field goals per game (1.74) and three-point shooting percentage (.308).

Last Time Out
 
• The Lancers provided an all-around team effort with five players finishing the game in double figures to earn a 79-71 victory over Charleston Southern Saturday af­ternoon inside Willett Hall.
Raven Williams recorded six assists in the opening half on her way to her second double-double of the season. The junior finished the afternoon with a team-high 19 points and a career-high 10 assists.
Brenna Robbins and Emily Nylen each added a career-high 14 points in the con­test.
Kyndal Skersick finished in double fig­ures for the fourth straight game, as she tallied 10 points. Deborah Headen re­corded 15 points in 38 minutes of playing time, as she has notched double figures in seven of her last 10 games.

By The Numbers
• Longwood has been successful shoot­ing the three this season, as the Lancers have made at least four three-point field goals in each game they've played. Long­wood hit a season-high 11 three-point field goals at Presbyterian
• The Lancers have played a total of five schools from a power five conference this season — Wake Forest, Florida, Vir­ginia Tech, Virginia and Clemson. The five games against the power five is the most of any team in the Big South this season.
Raven Williams has been Longwood's top threat from beyond the arc this sea­son, as she is ranked fourth in the confer­ence with 1.74 treys per contest.
• Williams is the only player to rank among the top five in the Big South in scoring (15.0 PPG) and assists (3.80) during con­ference play.
Emily Nylen has climbed into the top 10 in blocked shots in the Big South this season. Nylen is sixth in the league aver­aging 1.40 blocks per game and is fourth in conference play with 2.00 blocks per game.
Brenna Robbins has notched back-to-back double digit scoring efforts for the first time in her career in the past two games. The sophomore scored 12 points at Presbyterian and topped the effort with a 14-point outing Saturday against Charleston Southern.
• Junior Deborah Headen has scored in double figures in six of her past 10 games, as she is Longwood's third leading scorer since Daeisha Brown's injury.
• Longwood named three players team captains — senior Rianna Frazer, junior Deborah Headen and junior Raven Wil­liams.

Scouting Winthrop
• Winthrop travels to Farmville with a 10-9 overall and a 6-4 start in the Big South through the first half of the conference season. Last time out, the Eagles edged Presbyterian, 54-51, on Saturday inside Winthrop Coliseum.
• The Eagles have been unable to sustain as much road success as they have with­in Winthrop Coliseum. The Eagles are 2-6 on the road and have dropped three of their last four.
• Erica Williams comes into Tuesday's game averaging 15.7 points per contest – ranking second in the Big South. Williams has recorded 11 double doubles this sea­son.
• Winthrop captured the first meeting be­tween the two teams on Dec. 30, 81-48, as Schaquilla Nunn and Erica Williams combined to score 29 second-half points and each recorded a double-double.
