"I did a poor job tonight of having our team ready to play," said first-year Longwood head coach
Jayson Gee. "It just wasn't one of our better coaching nights. I want to give them a lot of credit. They came in focused, they were ready to play and to their credit, they shot the lights outs … that had to be their best three-point shooting night of the year. I'm disappointed in our defense … we had made some strides and that's how we had won two-straight games, and I just thought we really took a step back defensively."
