Foote finished 47th overall among the 94 runners, and was followed by freshman
Gracie Piekarski/South Plainfield, New Jersey (20:38, 56th), junior
Elisabeth Drake/Hayes (21:45, 75th), sophomore
Emily Krause/Fredericksburg (22:46, 80th), junior
Hanna Sacks/Fairfax (25:01, 91st), senior
Emberli McGann/Stuarts Draft (25:42, 92nd) and freshman
Hannah Fielder/Alexandria (27:08, 94th). Piekarski ran new collegiate-best time for the distance on the difficult course.
"The women's 11th place finish is not reflective of each girl's individual performance," said seventh-year Longwood head coach
Catherine Hanson. "Five of the six who ran here in September improved their times significantly, including one (Piekarski) with a new collegiate-best. The degree of difficulty on this course demonstrates their incredible progress. I am very proud."

Longwood matched its 11th-place finish at last year's conference championship.
