LU shot a season-best 60.0% (39-65) from the field, including 56.5% (13-23) on three-pointers, and 72.7% (8-11) at the free throw line. Longwood matched its season-high for three-pointers with the 13.
Anders Jacobson finished with 16 points to lead Southern Virginia. Casey Nye added 13 points off the bench for the Knights, and Isaac Jacobson had 10 points. SVU shot 36.1% (26-72) from the field, including 13.6% (3-22) on three-pointers, and 64.3% (9-14) at the line.
Longwood and Southern Virginia were playing for the sixth time as the Lancers continue to lead the series at 5-1 with five-straight wins.
