Longwood Takes To Road For 13-Day, 6-Game Trip

FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood University Men's Basketball returns to action on Saturday, December 11, at Big South Conference member and in-state opponent VMI in Lexington beginning at 1 p.m. The Lancers have not played since last Saturday (Dec. 4) while idle this past week for fall semester examinations. The VMI contest begins a stretch of six consecutive games away from Farmville over a 13-day period that also includes stops at Seton Hall (Dec. 13, 7 p.m.), New Mexico (Dec. 17, 9 p.m.), Colorado (Dec. 19, 4 p.m.), and two neutral-site games in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena against SIU Edwardsville (Dec. 22, 2:30 p.m.) and either The Citadel or South Carolina State (Dec. 23, 2:30 or 5 p.m.). Following the visits to four other states, three of which are located west of the Mississippi River, Longwood will play at home again after the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, Dec. 29, when The College of William and Mary visits Willett Hall at 7 p.m. All games can be heard locally on Kickin' Country 92.9 FM radio as well as on the Internet via free TEAMLINE.
