COMPLETE RESULTS
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Longwood University women's cross country totaled 795 points to finish 26th Saturday at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted by Princeton University in New Jersey. The host Tigers, along with West Virginia University, tied for the team title with 51 points each, while Frances Koons of Villanova University took the individual 6K race with her time of 21:11. The Lancers were led by junior
Laura Bland/Las Vegas, Nev. (Palo Verde) with her time of 25:58 to place 150th among the 191 runners. Longwood will complete its season on Saturday, November 22, at the ECAC Championships in New York City.
In New Jersey, Longwood was led Bland who was followed by junior
Melinda Lackore/Virginia Beach (First Colonial) (26:26, 166th), sophomore
Mandy Ford/Powhatan (Powhatan) (26:38, 169th), freshmen
