FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood University sophomore men’s golf team member Jason Schumacher|Glen Allen (Deep Run) is this week’s Longwood Male Athlete of the Week. He led the Lancers with his score of 74-73-73--220 that tied for 11th place among the field of 60 at the Joe Agee Invitational on September 24-25 hosted by the College of William and Mary and played at The Williamsburg Club in Williamsburg. Schumacher posted a new collegiate-low score for 54 holes at the 6,837-yard, par 71 layout, and tied for seventh in par 4 scoring (4.15, +5) while tied for 12th in pars (33). Through the one event this fall, he is averaging a team-best 73.33 for the Lancers.
