Women's soccer senior Alana Mackey played all 200 minutes for the Lancers last week, keying a 2-0 shutout against Radford Wednesday and a 1-1 draw at Gardner-Webb Saturday. The 5-5 native of Leesburg, Va., was the anchor of a Longwood backfield that orchestrated the program's seventh shutout of the season and allowed just one goal over the two-game conference slate.

Behind Mackey’s season-long dominance at the defensive end of the field, Longwood has allowed just 13 goals in 14 games and three goals in five Big South games. The Lancers are tied for the second-lowest goals against average in the Big South (0.96) while allowing the third-fewest goals.
