FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood University freshman women’s golf team member Courtney Tolton/Mitchell, Ontario, Canada is this week’s Longwood Female Athlete of the Week. She led the Lancers with her 36-hole score of 76-76--152 during the season-opening Tignanelli Towson Invitational on September 8-9 and played at the Towson Golf & Country Club in Phoenix, Maryland. Tolton, making her collegiate debut for Longwood, was among three players tied for fourth place in the event with their respective eight-over par rounds among the field of 79 at the 6,139-yard, par 72 layout located north of Baltimore.
