Season Long Promotions and Activities
3 POINT T-SHIRTS - Be on the lookout for t-shirts at every three point basket!
HOG TIED PROMOTION - If the Lancers Hog Tie their opponent by holding them to less than 70 points, fans receive a BOGO offer for a barbecue or chicken barbecue sandwich within twenty four hours at the Fishin' Pig.

November 5 vs. Marymount at 7pm
FOOD DRIVE- Donate a canned food item to receive free admission to the game. Donations will benefit Elwood's Cabinet. Tickets can be redeemed at the ticket office.
 
November 14 vs. St. Francis Brooklyn at 7pm
BOOK DRIVE – Donate a new or gently used children's book to receive free admission to the game. Donations will benefit Virginia Children's Book Festival.
 
November 15 vs. Randolph at 7pm
EDUCATOR APPRECIATION- All Longwood Faculty and Staff as well as all local elementary, middle and high school teachers receive free admission to the game when showing their educator ID at the ticket office. 
SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE – Bring a new school supply to donate to local schools and receive free admission to the game. Tickets can be redeemed at the ticket office.
SOFTBALL RING CEREMONY– Come support your Longwood Lancer Softball team as they are recognized as the 2018-2019 Big South Conference Champions during a halftime ring ceremony.
 
December 19 vs. The Citadel at 7pm
HOLIDAY HOOPS – Come dressed in your ugly Christmas sweater to take pictures with Santa and the Grinch.
TEDDY BEAR TOSS– Bring a new teddy bear to toss on the court during halftime for free admission to the game. Tickets are redeemable at the ticket office.
 
January 4 vs. USC Upstate at 3pm
ALUMNI FAMILY DAY– As a part of the Alumni Relations Sponsored Day, registered guests will also enjoy joining other Lancer family members at the game. 
BRING A KID DAY– All children 18 and younger receive free admission.
YOUTH BASKETBALL DAY- Wear your jersey and receive free admission to the game. 

January 16 vs. Presbyterian at 7pm
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL AUTOGRAPH SESSION– Join the Women's Basketball Team during half time for an autograph session. Posters will be provided for autographs.
 
January 20 vs. UNC Asheville at 7pm
MLK DAY SERVICE CHALLENGE– Volunteer for the Longwood MLK Day Service Challenge to receive free admission to the game. 
 
January 30 vs. Radford at 7pm
CLUB SPORTS DAY– Join the Longwood Lancers as Club Sports takeover Willett for a halftime competition.
 
February 6 vs. Charleston Southern at 7pm
SPRING WEEKEND REVEAL– Join the Lancer Basketball team during halftime as they reveal the Spring Weekend performance lineup during halftime presented by Lancer Productions.
HALFTIME HYPNOTIST– Watch and be amazed as students and community alike get their minds blown by hypnotist David Hall.
BLACKOUT– Wear black to cheer on your Longwood Lancers. First 750 fans get a FREE black pompom.
 
February 8 vs. Winthrop at 3pm
CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION– Join the Lancers as they celebrate 100 years of Longwood Athletics. 
HALFWAY TO ELWOOD'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION– Join Elwood and other local mascots to celebrate Elwood's half birthday. 
ALUMNI DAY - Join the Lancer Women's Basketball team as they welcome back and recognize their alumni.
TOY DRIVE– Bring a new toy to donate for Elwood's birthday celebration and receive free admission to the game.
DOUBLE HEADER– One ticket gets you access to both the men's and women's basketball games.
POST GAME COOKIES– Join us post game for our 1,000 cookie giveaway as part of our Centennial Celebration and Elwood's Half Birthday.
 
February 10 vs. Campbell at 7pm
BE MY VALENTINE– Register to have Elwood deliver a Valentine's Day Surprise to that special someone during the game. 
 
February 15 vs. Hampton at 6pm
BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION– Join the Longwood Lancers and the Hampton Pirates as they celebrate the Robert Russa Moton Museum.
DOUBLE HEADER– One ticket gets you access to both the men's and women's basketball games.
 
February 22 vs. High Point at 7pm
SENIOR NIGHT– Join us in celebrating our senior's as they play their final home game.

LONGWOOD WOMEN'S DAY– Come join the Longwood Women's Basketball team as they celebrate the women of Longwood.
GREEK NIGHT– Greek life members, compete for the highest attendance at the game. The Greek IFC Lip Sync winner will perform at halftime.
TOY DRIVE– Bring a new toy to donate to Operation Christmas Child for free admission to the game. Tickets can be redeemed at the ticket office.
 
November 16 vs. Brown at 12pm
BOOK DRIVE– Bring a new or gently used children's book to donate to the Virginia Children's Book Festival for free admission to the game. Tickets can be redeemed at the ticket office.
 
November 26 vs. Eastern Carolina at 7pm
SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDRAISER– Make a monetary donation to Special Olympics at the game for free admission. Tickets can be redeemed at the ticket office.
UNIFIED CLINIC REUNION– All Unified Clinic participants are invited to the game with free admission.
 
December 15 vs. Delaware State at 3pm
FAITH AND FAMILY DAY– Bring your faith group's bulletin to the ticket office to receive free admission to the game.
TOY DRIVE– Bring a new toy to be donated to Toys for Tots and receive free admission to the game. Tickets can be redeemed at the ticket office.
 
December 28 vs. Gardner Webb at 3pm
SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDRAISER– Make a monetary donation to Special Olympics at the game for free admission. Tickets can be redeemed at the ticket office.
 
January 6 vs. Campbell at 7pm

PLAY 4 KAY PINK OUT- Wear your pink gear and cheer on the Lancers as they raise breast cancer awareness during the annual Play 4 Kay pink game
MOTION GYMNASTICS HALFTIME PERFORMANCE– Stick around for a halftime performance by Motion Gymnastics.
