Seth Taylor|Chesapeake (Grassfield) and senior
Sean Flynn|Goodview (Roanoke Catholic) each competed at the 2012 IC4A Cross Country Championships Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York. Taylor posted an 8K time of 28:23 to finish 89th among the field of 151 runners, while Flynn posted an 8K time of 28:36 to finish 99th. Chris Johnson of Colgate University won the race with his time of 25:28, and Fairfield University took the team title among 16 teams with its 58 points. Longwood did not participate in the championships as a team, as the 2012 campaign is now complete.
