Alex Dinger is in her first year as an athletic academic advisor at Longwood in 2025-26 after spending last season as a graduate assistant in the sports performance department.
Dinger, a five-year member of the Lancers' women's soccer team from 2020-24, scored six goals and eight assists for 20 points in a program record of 84 career games in the midfield. A native of Fredericksburg, Va., Dinger was a Honorable Mention in 2020, Longwood Freshman Female Athlete of the Year, two-time All-Big South second-team performer in 2023 and 2024 and earned a spot of the league all-tournament team as well as the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Dinger graduated with a bachelor's in Kinesiology and MBA from Longwood.
