Longwood University Athletics

2015-16: Spent most of her junior season at No. 4, finishing with a 6-10 record, 1-0 at No. 2 and 1-2 at No. 3 in singles. In doubles, she logged in a record of 6-14 play alongside teammate Maria Coronel ... had a 4-6 record for her last 10 matches, three of them being conference teams (Presbyterian, Campbell and Garner Webb). 

2014-15: Played primarily at No. 4 singles, logging a 10-13 overall record in her sophomore season … went 9-12 at No. 4 singles and 1-1 at No. 5 … paired with senior singles ace Malin Allgurin to form Longwood’s top doubles duo, which went 8-12 at Longwood’s top slot … went 7-4 over her final 11 singles bouts … ended the year on a three-match singles win streak with back-to-back-to-back wins over Delaware, N.C. Central and Hampton … also won back-to-back doubles bouts against N.C. Central and Hampton during that span.

2013-14: Spent her entire freshman season at No. 2 singles, logging a 6-16 overall record … went 3-4 during the fall … picked up regular season wins at Navy (Feb. 8), Chowan (Feb. 23) and Norfolk State (April 1) … teamed with fellow freshman Anna Pelak to occupy Longwood’s No. 2 doubles spot … the pair won at Chowan (Feb. 23) and Norfolk State (April 1).

High School: Four-year standout at Cinco Ranch in Texas ... Ranked top 35 in girls 18s singles in Texas … three-time team MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior … team Most Hardworking as a sophomore … team Most Improved as a freshman.

Personal: Daughter of Maria Munoz and Rodrigo Alatorre ... older brother (Rodrigo) played tennis at Belmont Abbey College and younger brother (Patricio) is a top ranked tennis player in Texas.

Academics: Majoring in communication studies with a concentration in mass media and minoring in Business Administration.
