2017-18 (Freshman): Collected seven wins, all coming in the spring...went 6-8 at the fourth line...five of her seven wins came in straight sets...went 6-19 in doubles play with a 4-7 record at the second flight and 2-7 mark at the top...Longwood Scholar-Athlete.

High School: Kaori Terunuma comes to Longwood after competing on the tennis team for Yanagawa High School in Mito City, Japan…during her time prior to Longwood, Terunuma competed in the 2014 ITF G4 Queensland Junior Winter International 1 Main Draw advancing to the second round…she also competed in the 2014 Rod Laver Lead 18&U Girls Singles where she was a finalist…in the 2014 Rod Laver QLD Junior Championships 18&U Girls Singles she was a semifinalist and a winner in the doubles competition.
