High School: Four-year letterwinner in cross country at Tuscarora High School...also lettered twice in track and once in soccer...captained the cross country team as a senior...two-time member of the Virginia State Championship cross country squad, leading the way to that title in 2014 and 2015...top time in the 5K was a 20:14 she clocked as a junior...also logged a season-best 20:36 as a senior...helped Tusacrora advance to the state finals during all four years of competition, winning the conference title every year and the region title three times...member of the ASL Honor Society and Future Educators of America...also involved with Habitat for Humanity and Youth Theater.
