Tyler Bagbey joined the Longwood athletic department in March 2022, and he oversees game operations. As a part of that, he provides staffing for games, manages the department's master calendar and assists as a project manager for additions and repairs of athletic facilities.
Bagbey came to Longwood from Lees McRae College. He served as the Game Environment Coordinator from August 2021-March 2022. While there, he oversaw staffing for game operations, managed and directed game broadcasts and served as the event manager.
A Longwood graduate in December 2020, Bagbey got his start in athletics working on the ESPN+ Production Crew in 2019 and continued on through the fall of 2020. He also worked as a marketing and fan engagement intern in the fall of 2020.
Upon graduation, he worked from December 2020 to March 2021 as a member of the event staff/game operations crew at Longwood during the COVID-impacted men's and women's basketball seasons.
