Head Coach Kevin Fillman: “For the first half of the fall, Austin really played well.  With two wins in our first three events, that’s probably an understatement.  He struggled a bit, however, over our final two tournaments.  He still made birdies and, overall, struck the ball pretty well.  The difference was putting and making big numbers.  Austin’s play kind of mirrors our team’s play.  When he gets the ball in the hole and stays away from big numbers, he can be very good.  When it goes the other way, he’s in trouble.”
