Biography
Head Coach Kevin Fillman: “Allan has a lot of game. His motions are very smooth with every skill. I’d argue that he may have our best short game, which will keep him in every round he plays. Allan’s still a little young in golf years. More tournament experience will change that. He’ll also realize he needs to stay focused on the present as he plays more competition against better players. I think Allan has a chance to be a really good player for us in the coming years.”

JUNIOR/AMATEUR: Runner-up at 2008 AJGA-Royal New Kent (71-76-74) … Finished ninth at 2008 Virginia Junior (70-72-71) … Finished 22nd at 2008 Big ‘I’ Junior (71-74-73-76) … Runner-up at 2008 Richmond Junior (69-73) … Won 2007 Richmond Amateur (match-play event, youngest ever champion) … Finished 22nd at 2007 Big ‘I’ Junior (76-76-75-69) … 2006 (71-72) and 2007 (73-72) Kingsmill Junior champion.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time qualifier to Virginia Group AAA State Championships, finishing third at 2006 State Championships (71-72) … Three-time All-Central Region, All-Dominion District, Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro, and Team MVP.
PERSONAL: Plans to major in business … Son of Teresa Day and Richard Day, both of Midlothian.
