Who’s required to attend Study Table?
All new student-athletes (freshmen and transfers) and returning student-athletes with a cumulative GPA below a 2.50 from the previous fall or spring semester are required to attend study table. Students cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the summer will be considered, and specifc teams may have additional requirements.

How many hours per week must I go to Study Table?
New student-athletes – 8 hours per week
Returning student-athletes:
• GPA < 2.0="" –="" 8="" hours="" per="">
• 2.0 – 2.24 – 6 hours per week
• 2.25 – 2.49 – 4 hours per week

Head Coaches may increase these requirements as he or she deems appropriate. 

How do I "get" Study Hall hours?
Monday through Friday starting at 9:00 am you can log into Tabb or Barlow by swiping your student ID card at the kiosk located in Tabb 101. You can also attend Study Hall between the hours of 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday where there will be a Study Table Monitor to assist you in logging into and out of Study Table.
 
Location 1: Tabb Hall Rooms 101, 102, 104
Sunday: 3:00-10:00 p.m.
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
 
Location 2: Barlow Hall, Second Floor
Closed Friday-Sunday
Monday- Thursday: 12:00 pm- 10:00 pm

All hours for the week must be completed by 3:00 p.m. each Friday.
 
Expectations
Expectations while in study table are as follows:
1.   Come prepared to work each session. Bring appropriate books, assignments and materials to complete your assignments.
2.   No internet surfing, social networking sites, instant messaging, texting, cell phones, mp3 players, or any other electronic/media device that is not required to complete your academic work.
3.   Be respectful of those around you and the study table monitor.
4.   You are responsible for monitoring your own study table hours each day. Failure to be diligent in monitoring your hours is not an acceptable reason for not completing your hours.
5.   Do not leave study table without signing out or speaking with the study table monitor.
6.   You are expected to report your hours honestly. If it is determine you have been dishonest regarding your study table hours, you will lose all hours for that day and are responsible for making that time up.
7.   You are expected to sign in when you arrive and sign out when you leave study table. Do not sign out at the time you anticipate you will leave study table. If you do so, you will lose all study table time for that session.

What if I don’t make my hours?
If you do not make your required study table hours for the week, the following will occur:
• First Occasion – written notification will be sent to you and your Head Coach
• Second Occasion – one day suspension from practice. You are required to attend study table during practice if study table is open.
• Third Occasion – suspension from the next game during your championship season. Each additional occasion will result in another game suspension during the championship season.

What is a study table voucher?
You can earn study table credit through the Voucher System for the following:
• Tutoring sessions
• Review sessions with your professor
• Writing Center
• Other academic activities* (Must be approved by your Academic Coach IN ADVANCE)
In order to earn credit for these activities you must complete the Study Table Voucher. You must have your tutor, professor, writing center attendant sign your voucher noting the following:
• Length of the activity
• Description of activity
• Name
• Date of activity
• Sport
The Study Table Voucher must be turned in to the tutoring coordinator by 3:00 p.m. on Friday in order to be used for your weekly study table hours.
