Coach Breen on Jakab: “Zsofia has established herself as one of the top players on our squad and a key contributor to our success.  The last three years Zsofia has taken on the challenge of playing either #1 or #2, so her experience will continue to pay off this season. She is an excellent doubles player with good hands at the net and an aggressive style, able to finish off points.” 

Fall 2010
Recorded a 3-4 mark in singles and went 1-6 in doubles ... singles quarterfinalist of Flight A-1 at the Elon University Invitational.

2009-10
Flight B finalist in singles and 4th-place finish in doubles at the JMU Fall Invitational ... tallied a 12-20 overall singles record, including 3-3 at #2 and 2-4 in the fall ... went 18-16 overall in doubles, including a 3-4 fall record.

2008-09
Team MVP in doubles with Laura Simon with a 4-4 record ... posted 4-10 singles record during the spring, including 4-6 at #2 ... finished 3-2 in singles and 2-4 in doubles, including 2-2 with Laura Simon during the fall ... went 2-1 in doubles with Simon at the Elon Invitational and winner of singles Flight A in the Longwood Invitational.

2007-08
Runner up in doubles Flight B at Hampton Roads Invitational, finishing 1-2 in singles and 4-4 in doubles overall for the fall ... finished 6-11 in singles in the spring, including 4-3 at #2 ... went 8-5 in doubles, finishing 8-3 with Laura Simon, playing primarily at #2 ... earned All-Independent Second-Team honors in doubles with Laura Simon.

High School
Reached as high as #46 in the Swiss Adult National rankings in 2005 and was ranked #2 in Swiss junior rankings of the girls 16 and 18 and under category.
