High School: Ran both cross country and track at Robinson Secondary School, lettering twice in cross country and thrice in track…captained both teams as both a junior and senior…logged a personal-best 5K of 22:27 as a junior…also clocked a 3-mile cross country best of 20:49 that same year…logged a 2:49 mile as a junior and a two-mile best of 12:28 as a sophomore…an A-B honor roll student…received athletic-academic honors…logged more than 200 hours of volunteer service time at track meets, road races, church projects and various concert and school service efforts.
 
Personal: Daughter of Gordon and Carol Currey…has four siblings: Timo, Lizzy, Scott and Aggie…mother, Carol, ran cross country at the University of Virginia…aims to undertake a pre-med track at Longwood and attend medical school after graduation…long-term goal is to become a neurologist.
