Head Coach Ali Wright: “Mary has been working on her short game has gotten significantly stronger in the weight room.  Her efforts in the weight room motivate the entire team to be stronger.  When Mary makes putts, she is capable of shooting low scores.”

2008-09: Averaged career-best 87.25 through eight rounds … Career-best 18-hole score (81) at Towson Women’s Invitational … Career-best 36-hole score of 165 (81-84) at Towson Women’s Invitational … Career-best 54-hole score of 257 (87-82-88) at Penn State/Nittany Lion Invitational.

2007-08: Did not play any competitive rounds.

High School: Played three years of golf at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas … Three-time Team MVP and captain … All-County and Washington Post 1st-Team as a senior … Also participated in cheerleading and track and field.

Personal: Majors in English … 2009-10 Longwood Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative … member of Longwood Young Democrats … Osbourn Park Athletic Boosters Scholarship recipient … Worked at Heritage Hunt Golf Club during summers of 2009 and 2008 … Daughter of Rick Hashagen and Barbara Thompson.
