Biography

2018: Named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Southeast Region Team…named to the All-Big South first team for the second year straight year…also earned Virginia Sports Information Directions All-State honors…started 17 of the season’s 18 games…named Big South Attacking Player of the Week on Oct. 8…led Longwood and ranked sixth in the Big South with eight goals…also led Longwood and ranked in the Big South’s top 10 with 18 points…led Longwood in scoring for the second straight year…netted seven of her eight goals in Big South play, including a hat trick in a 3-0 victory against new Big South foe USC Upstate (Oct. 6)…tied for the Big South lead in conference-only goals, matching Radford’s Jasmine Casarez with seven…ranked second in Big South-only games with 15 points…her other four Big South goals came against four difference foes…scored goals in four consecutive games, during which Longwood defeated Presbyterian 2-0 (9/29), Hampton 5-1 (10/3)…USC Upstate 3-0 (10/6) and Campbell 3-0 (10/10)…also dished assists in the 4-3 win over Howard and a 2-1 win against Winthrop (10/20).

2017: Broke out in the second half of the season to emerge as one of the top offensive players in the Big South…named to the All-Big South first team after amassing seven goals, four assists and 18 points on the season…led the team in both goals and points, as well as shots (64) and shots on goal (33)…started all 21 games…scored six goals in the final nine games of the season, including the game-winner in Longwood’s 2-0 rout of Liberty in the semifinals of the Big South Championship…earned a spot on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays for that game-winner against Liberty…also scored the game-winner in a 2-1 at Marshall (8/27)…top five in the Big South in goals (t-3rd), points (4th), shots (2nd) and game-winning goals (t-5th)…also top-10 in assists…top-three in goals and points in Big South play…named Big South Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 15...along with her two game-winners, saw three of her four assists lead to game-winning goals, dishing those to Annie Boros in a 1-0 win against Howard (8/20), to Kathryn Miller in a 1-0 win against VMI (9/2) and to Sheyenne Stretz in a 1-0 overtime win against Presbyterian (9/30)…also set up the game-tying goal in dramatic fashion in a 2-2 draw against Campbell, finding Stretz again in the 81st minute (10/4)…a Big South Presidential Honor Roll selection…also a Longwood Scholar-Athlete.

2016: Appeared in all 20 games as a freshman, drawing eight starts while playing 1,049 minutes…led all Longwood freshmen in minutes…took the second-most shots on the team with 38, putting 17 of those on goal…first career goal came in game-winning fashion against reigning Atlantic 10 champion Duquesne, punching in the go-ahead score in the 42nd minute…played over 35 minutes in every game with a career-high 110 minutes in OT tie against High Point (10/12).

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Owen J. Roberts High School...scored 63 career goals and dished 45 career assists during her prep career....a three-time all-conference first team and all-area first team selection...also earned all-conference second team and all-area second team honors as a freshman...named to the All-Southeastern PA Girls' Soccer first team by the Philadelphia Inquirer...as a senior, scored 27 goals with 16 assists en route to leading her conference in both categories...scored double-digit goals as a sophomore, junior and senior and double-digit assists as a junior and senior...as a junior posted 16 goals with 14 assists...added 14 goals and nine assists as a sophomore, and six goals and six assists as a freshman...helped led her squad to the Pac-10 High School Championship finals in 2012...also appeared in the SUPER Y National ODP North American finals...won the ODP U17 Region 1 Championship in 2014 with the EPYSA ODP club...an honor roll student...volunteered at Pottstown Hospital and as an assistant coach at Vincent United FC.

Personal: Born Emilie Elizabeth Kupsov on Oct. 24, 1997...daughter of David and Christine Kupsov...has a brother, Kyle, and a sister, Anna...father, David, played soccer at Rider University.
