2015-16 (Junior): Earned four wins competing at flight Nos. 4-6 in singles action... won two matches at the No. 5 spot, including victories against NC Central and James Madison... also posted a win filling in the No. 6 role in team's 4-3 victory over Christopher Newport... Longwood Scholar-Athlete recipient.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Picked up four wins as a sophomore… appeared at the No. 4-6 positions in singles… earned first-career victory, 6-2, 6-1, against Hampden-Sydney at the No. 5 spot… closed out year with two straight singles wins in matches vs. Norfolk St. and Bridgewater… also tallied eight wins in doubles matches.
2013-14 (Freshman): First-year team member … finished the fall season with 0-5 in singles play and 0-2 in doubles action after participating at the GWU Fall Classic and the UVA Fall Invitational.
High School: Played tennis for one season at Beaverton …
Personal: Son of Stan and Irena Ilchev … worked as an assistant tennis coach and racquet stringer during the summer of 2013 … majoring in kinesiology.
