- The Lancers' 3-0 start marks the best Division I start in program history. Overall, it is the sixth time Longwood has started a season 3-0 and the first since 2001.
- As of Aug. 30, Longwood leads the country in goals per game (5.0), assists per game (6.3), and points per game (16.33).
- For the second-straight week, Longwood took home the Big South Offensive Player of the Week honor. Junior forward Brando Bedolla received the award on Monday after tallying seven points (two goals and three assists) in wins over Coastal Carolina and Southern Virginia. Sophomore Youssef Shafei received the honor on Aug. 24 after scoring two goals, including the game-winner, in LU's 6-5 win at William & Mary.
- Bedolla leads the Lancers with 11 points on three goals and five assists. He ranks second in the country in points per game (3.67), third in assists (1.67), and 10th in goals (1.0). He factored in on all four Longwood goals in its 4-2 win on Aug. 24.
- Junior forward Joshwa Campbell tops the team with four goals on the season. He scored two goals in victories over William & Mary and Coastal Carolina. His second tally against the Chanticleers was the game-winner. He leads the Big South in goals and ranks third nationally in goals per game (1.33).
- Twice in the first three games of the year, Bedolla and senior Mesfin Roda tied the Division I school record for assists in a game. Roda assisted on the Lancers' first three goals in the win at William & Mary. Bedolla assisted on the team's first three goals in the home win over Coastal Carolina.
- Individually, Longwood's roster includes six of the Big South's top 12 in points, four of the top eight in goals, and three of the top four in assists. Here are the Lancers among the league's best:
