WHAT THEY SAID:
"I'm really proud of our group tonight. We were in the game the whole time and battled to the very end, said Head Coach
Todd Dyer. I feel like this game is always a classic rivalry game, and the margins between our teams are razor-thin. They got their goal, and we didn't, so credit to them. Three of our players were knocked out of the game, which was a challenge, but we adapted, rose to the occasion, and stayed in the fight. That's all I can ask for as a coach, and our players delivered. We just came up a little short."
UP NEXT:
The Lancers continue on the road Wednesday, Oct. 1, at High Point in High Point, N.C., with the match set to begin at 7 p.m. This match will be aired on ESPN+
