NORFOLK, Va. — The Longwood men's tennis team's run at the 2024 ITA Atlantic Regional Championship at Folkes-Stevens-Tennis Center came to an end Saturday.
Sophomore Petar Belosevic dropped his second-round match in the main draw of the singles competition to Chase Robinson, of Liberty, the tournament's No. 9-16 seed. Robinson won, 6-1, 6-0, to advance.
In consolation action, junior Timéo Puech defeated Alexander Karman from William & Mary, 6-3, 6-4.
The Lancers return to the court Oct. 25-27 for the Big South Individual Tennis Championship, hosted by UNC Asheville, at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
