Richmond, Va. - The Longwood men's golf team sit in 11th place after finishing at over 29 as a team after one round at the Forest Creek Collegiate.
Sophomore

Brendan Dunphy is sitting tied for 56th place after finishing with a score of 80 (+8).
Christain Michael is tied for 62nd after finishing with a score of 81 (+9). Followed by
Scott Jordan in 64th place (+10) and
Ryan Hammer in 70th place (+13).
The unfortunate weather circumstances prevented the players from getting a second round in Saturday. Longwood will look to rebound when Forest Creek Collegiate concludes on Sunday the 13th.
"To be honest, anybody who completed the round won today," said head coach
Kevin Fillman. "With that said, every player had to deal with the same conditions, and there were too many times when we did not handle things the way we had planned. Our entire focus both last night and this morning was to belief in ourselves and be the toughest guys on the golf course all day. Needless to say, we fell short of doing either for much of the round. We've dug a big hole, so we have no choice but to respond in a positive way tomorrow."
