Longwood Women's Golf Team Sits In Eighth After Day One At Rivertowne Invitational

Mt. Pleasant, S.C. – Longwood Women's golf finished their first day of the Rivertowne Invitational in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Lancers scored 388 and finished eighth on the day. Not all participants finished the second round due to a limited amount of daylight. The second round is set to be completed March 1
st, prior to the third and final round.
Sophomore
Emma Landis had an impressive showing, tying her career record of 69 in the first round. Landis shot four over, scoring six birdies in 36 holes on the day. She is currently leading her team and is tied for third in the 89 player pool. Fellow Lancer
Ester Choi recorded a birdie in the first round and is currently tied for 29
th place at eight over.
Diana Domenech is tied for 57
th place in the contest at fifteen over. Domenech recorded a birdie late in the first round.
Peyton Schaffer is tied for 78
th place and also carded a birdie in the second round.
