Longwood University Athletics

FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood athletics announced the broadcast schedule for the 2022 spring semester. The schedule features 36 regular-season games streaming live on ESPN+ and eight airing on 92.9 Kickin' Country FM and online. The radio schedule will also include the Big South 2022 softball and baseball tournament in May.

With three Longwood athletic teams featured on ESPN+ this spring, the broadcasts will begin in mid-February and carry on through early May. Those games, as well as select Longwood road games airing at opponents venues, are available on ESPN's subscription-based streaming platform as part of a conference-wide broadcast partnership with ESPN.

Longwood's ESPN+ lineup this spring will feature Longwood baseball, softball and women's lacrosse. WVHL 92.9 Kickin' Country FM in Farmville will also continue with their "Game of the Week" programming with a weekly live broadcast featuring Longwood baseball and softball.

The first of Longwood's ESPN+ broadcasts for spring sports will be next Tuesday, February 22^nd when VCU baseball comes to Farmville for a one game series against the Lancers at Buddy Bolding Field, starting at 4 p.m.

The Longwood broadcast schedule is subject to change throughout the season due to weather or game conflicts. Changes will be announced at Longwoodlancers.com and on the main Longwood athletics Twitter account, @LongwoodLancers.com.
