FARMVILLE, Va. – With fall sports underway, the Lancer Central crew had a chance to learn a little bit about leadership with Longwood women's soccer veteran Madison Hommey.
 
In this episode, Hommey talked with Lancer Central about what leadership looks like and how she approaches it. The sixth-year graduate student has seen a little bit of everything in her time at Longwood, and she now has a chance to impart that to her teammates.
 
Plus, host Sam Hovan runs through the Top 6 plays through the first few weeks of action, featuring field hockey, women's soccer and men's soccer.
 
Lancer Central is filmed, edited and produced by Will Johnson, Trevin Bowles, Liam Wells and Kris Bryant, along with fellow Longwood University Communication Studies students. The show is filmed inside the department's state-of-the-art production studio in French Hall. Lancer Central is a collaborative effort between the Communication Studies program and Longwood athletics. Under the direction of Department Chair and Associate Professor Jeff Halliday and Broadcast Studio Managing Engineer Clint Wright, students produce Lancer Central biweekly.
