"Simply put, today was not good," said Longwood head coach Kevin Fillman. "There's no reason for it.  It's April, so we've had plenty of time to get ready, and it was a near perfect day to play.  I would like to say this week served as a good tune up for the conference tournament, but, to be honest, I'm probably leaving here with more questions than answers.

"It was great to see Ryan [Hammer] bounce back after a difficult day yesterday.  We're just going to have to get to work over the next couple days and go see what we can do next week."

Brendan Dunphy closed his tournament with an 83 (+11), as he ranked 61st with a card of 73-72-83—228 (+12). Nick Rakes followed with a 67th finish, ending at 74-77-81—232 (+16).
