Lancer Central: Diving into Longwood Cross Country
Women's Cross Country
/
FARMVILLE, Va. – In the third episode of Lancer Central, the crew goes in depth with the Longwood Cross Country teams.
Â
This fall, the Lancers hosted their first home meet since 2014 at the Lancer Pink Invitational. On top of that, the team raised more than $2,000 for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation as part of a fun run/walk following the men's and women's races. Kris Bryant talked with those there about what it means.
Â
Plus, Lancer Central sat down with junior and team leader
Grace Puleo to talk about both the home meet and the fundraiser. She explains what it was like to see it all come together as well as how important it was for them as a team.
Â
Lancer Central is filmed, edited and produced by Kris Bryant, Trevin Bowles, Will Johnson and Liam Wells along with fellow Longwood University Communication Studies students.
