FARMVILLE, Va. -- Heading into its 27th season under head coach and program founder Todd Dyer, Longwood women's soccer is deep into its preseason training regimen.

LongwoodLancers.com visited practice and captured the sights and sounds of the Lancers' training, which is taking place ahead of their upcoming spring season. Typically a fall sport, the Big South Conference shifted soccer season to the spring as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

One of the top three winningest Big South programs since joining the conference in 2012, Longwood women's soccer returns nine starters and 22 letterwinners from last year's team, along with head coach Dyer and eighth-year associate head coach Rich Stoneman.
