FARMVILLE, Va. – Lancer Central is back this week to take a look at student athletes both on the field and in the classroom.
In this episode, the crew takes a look at how Covid-19 has affected study hall for Longwood student athletes and how students have managed to juggle sports and academics. Plus, Longwood men's soccer forward Kedus Michael demonstrated some of his fancy footwork that he uses on the field, and teaches fans how to try it at home.
Lancer Central is filmed, edited and produced by Tyler Hall, Claire Baugh, and Allison Turner, along with fellow Longwood University Communication Studies students. The show is filmed inside the department's state-of-the-art production studio in French Hall. Lancer Central is a collaborative effort between the Communication Studies program and Longwood athletics. Under the direction of Department Chair and Associate Professor Jeff Halliday and Broadcast Studio Managing Engineer Clint Wright, students produce Lancer Central biweekly.
