BOX SCORE

Farmville, Va. -- The Longwood University men’s soccer team opened the 2005 season with a 2-2 double-overtime tie against visiting Wofford this afternoon at Lancer Field. The Lancers, who came back from a two-goal deficit and scored the tying goal with 12 seconds left in regulation, holds a 0-0-1 record, while the Terriers also hold a 0-0-1 record. A free kick taken by sophomore goalkeeper Brandt Youmans/Gaithersburg, Md.
