Men's Tennis Falls 5-2 At UNC Asheville

Sophomore Rashko Patnikov Earns Win At #1 Singles Against Bulldogs

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Longwood University dropped a 5-2 men’s tennis decision at UNC Asheville Sunday in North Carolina.  The Lancers are now 0-6 this season and will play again Tuesday, March 8, hosting Shaw University beginning at 2 p.m. at the Lancer Courts in Farmville.

At UNC Asheville, Longwood garnered a pair of wins in singles from sophomore Rashko Patnikov/Bankya, Bulgaria (Smirnenski) #1 (6-3, 6-4) and junior Tobias Guennel/Plauen, Germany (Albert Einstein-Gymnasium) at #3 (4-6, 6-3, 7-6).
