WILSON, N.C. -- Longwood University dropped a 7-2 men's collegiate tennis decision at Barton College Sunday at the North-South Duels in North Carolina. The Lancers are now 6-7 and will play again Wednesday, March 31, hosting Mary Washington College at 3 p.m. on the Lancer Courts.
At Barton, Longwood won one singles and one doubles match. In singles, freshman Rashko Patnikov/Bankya, Bulgaria (Smirnenski) won at #2 (7-5, 6-3). In doubles, Patnikov and senior Garrett Green/Fredericksburg (Stafford) also won at #2 (8-5).
