HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Longwood University dropped a 4-3 women’s collegiate tennis decision at NCAA Division I James Madison University Sunday in Harrisonburg.  The Lancers are now 4-3 and scheduled to play at Division III Bridgewater later Sunday.

At JMU, Longwood won three of six singles matches.  In singles, freshman Romana Bucur/Brasov, Romania (Joan Mseota) won at #1, as did senior Danielle Hess/Bel Air, Md. (Bel Air) at #2, and freshman Lexi Torrice/Richmond (Douglas Freeman) at #3.
