Women's golf sophomore Crystina Kertsos recorded the first top-25 finish of her career, placing 21st overall at the Low Country Intercollegiate at the Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C.
A native of Pickering, Ontario, Kertsos carded an eight-over 80 Sunday in her second round to finish a team-leading plus-12 over the two-day tournament. Her finish -- which also included an over-four 76 on day one, vaulted the Lancers into a 12th-place finish as a team.
Kertsos owns a 79.31 stroke average this season to rank third on the team. She and the Lancers continue their spring schedule this Sunday, March 28, at the two-day William & Mary/Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate at Kingsmill Resort River Course.Â
