Junior cross country runner Gracie Piekarski capped her breakout 2015 season with a 51st-place finish at the ECAC/IC4A Championship in Bronx, N.Y. Saturday. The finish was the second-best of any Longwood runner at the event in the Division I era, trailing only all-time Lancer great Alisha Royal's seventh-place finish in 2011.

Piekarski, who ran a 19:30.2 on the 5K course Saturday, was Longwood's top finisher in every race as a junior.
